There are 2 practices that I credit with totally uplifting my life, when I was a mess after I quit drinking. The first is meditation. And the second was beginning a mindfulness practice.
These two techniques totally turned my life around.
This week on The Sort Yourself Out Podcast we’re focusing on mindfulness, and the joy that it can bring to your life. Because trust me, mindfulness is a practice that can uplift your life on all levels, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
It is a top-down technique extraordinaire, and by top-down I mean that you use the higher part of yourself to manage the lower.
As Albert Einstein said, "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."
When you practice mindfulness you are raising your awareness, so not only are you creating the conditions to resolve those problems, but you are creating a knock-on effect that ripples out to uplift and illuminate all areas of your life.
Mindfulness also helps in all 3 phases of transformation, and that is why it is so powerful, and one of my top techniques for sorting yourself out.
