Janine's Quick Start Guide To Doable Meditation
Get on your butt!
Did you know that you are omnipotent? It may not seem like it, as so many of us feel powerless, like we’re buffeted around by the seemingly random sh*t that happens. We’re all familiar with that modern-day piece of wisdom that “sh*t happens”!
And while I am not trying to say that we have ultimate control over all that shows up in our lives, there is one area where we do have control, where we are omnipotent, and that is in how we choose to think about all that is going on. And how we think about things will be reflected in how we react to people, circumstances and events. That is entirely up to us!
For many of us, however, that will involve raising our awareness and achieving a level of mindfulness to become aware of what’s going on betwixt our ears. Without that awareness, we’re at the mercy of our programming and conditioning. And what is that? Basically, it’s how we’ve been brainwashed. It’s all the ideas about ourselves and about life that we absorbed as children and that have become a part of the operating system that is the subconscious mind.
But it doesn’t stop there, and this is where it gets serious - because we experience in life what our brainwashing leads us to expect. So if you expect that life is hard and that there’s always a calamity around the corner just waiting to screw you over, that’s what you’re going to experience in life. Because thoughts are creative energy that attract experiences to you.
So this week we’re discussing how to take charge of your mind so you can have greater control over what you experience in your life and achieve omnipotence!
