Today we’re talking not just about happiness, but about how to be better than happy. Because happiness is not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s often related to a moment in time or something pleasurable you are doing, like a specific event or circumstance, or the fulfillment of a material desire. But that kind of happiness is fleeting. Pretty soon the glow will wear off, and you can bet that you’ll be hankering after something else to feed that desire to be happy.
That kind of happiness can also disappear in an instant. For example, have you ever been feeling really happy, and then say someone is rude to you, or you get a bill in the mail. And then BAM! Your happiness evaporates in a puff of smoke. You sink into bummer mode. There you are, thinking, Wow, where did my happiness go?
But there is something much, much better than that kind of happiness. Something that nourishes your being at a deep and primal level. Something you can rely upon that carries you through life’s inevitable ups and downs.
So, today I’m sharing my top 10 tips for how to be better than happy, covering everything from my favourite techniques, practices and tools to liberate yourself from your hangups, and your self-sabotaging thought and behaviour patterns, to spiritual practices and the Ageless Wisdom, so that you can be better than happy, and achieve a lasting sense of well-being and fulfillment in your life.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of what we’ll be discovering in today’s episode:
